Habitat for Humanity
As part of TruWest’s support of Habitat for Humanity, we invited Clark Howard, national financial radio show host, to be the keynote speaker at our Annual Meeting on April 26, 2007. Clark, who is also a Habitat for Humanity advocate and volunteer, donated his entire speaker’s fee to TruWest’s Habitat for Humanity fund.

To further help spread the TruDifference in our communities, TruWest has committed to funding and building a home in 2008 for a Habitat family. To help raise the necessary funds, the Credit Union will donate $250 to Habitat for Humanity from every new mortgage we receive. While you are getting your own home, why not help fund one for someone else by looking into TruWest’s great rates and terms?

Our goal is to raise $60,000 by fall 2008. As of December 31, 2007, we have raised $20,750. Be sure to stay tuned for updates on our fundraising progress.
