With this in mind, we proudly unveil our new visual identity: The Evolution As the story of TruWest Credit Union continues to evolve, so does its identity. Members approved our last name change—from Motorola Employees Credit Union – West (MECU West) to TruWest Credit Union—on January 1, 2003. Since that time, our membership footprint has expanded greatly to include anyone living or working in Maricopa in Arizona or Travis or Williamson Counties in Texas. The Inspiration Within the logo is a layered star, representing the members and states (Arizona and Texas) coming together to achieve something greater. It embodies the symbolic history and heritage of both states and the beautifully diverse background of our membership. The Look Along with our increased membership and continuous evolution, we pride ourselves on being a unique financial institution that is distinct from the rest, not only in color palette and logo but in service, products and rates. That’s why we confidently approved a new visual identity that highlights the energy and dedication we bring to improving members’ financial situations. Our new look and feel communicates our welcoming, hands-on approach to helping our members, and demonstrates our commitment to providing the best possible value-based solutions for all of your financial needs. The Meaning The new visual identity also represents what we call the TruDifference, which means that at TruWest it’s not just business as usual, it’s personal. We want you to feel welcome and confident. We want you to know in no uncertain terms that we can make a difference in your life by helping you achieve your financial goals.
