12 ON THE MONEY Winter 2016 Touch ID® Log On Technology TruWest’s mobile app features Touch ID® technology for logging in as an alternative to entering username and password. Members who have an iPhone® 5S or higher are prompted with the option to update their TruWest mobile app and follow the steps to set up Touch ID. If members choose not to enroll in Touch ID, they still have the option to enable it from the Settings menu located in the More area anytime. Members also have the option to enroll multiple fingerprints on the device. Touch ID fingerprints are stored solely on the member’s personal device. Mobile banking apps using Touch ID technology cannot access fingerprints—they can only determine if fingerprints are valid. 2
