Coat drive helps local children and teens in need stay warm
TruWest Credit Union branches serve as collection locations for Coats for Kids

Austin, Texas – Nov. 14, 2013 -- TruWest Credit Union is joining the Coats for Kids effort, to bring the community together and ensure the children of Central Texas stay warm this winter. TruWest has made donating a coat simple: Just bring any new orgently used coat or jacket to a TruWest branch near you between Nov. 18 and Dec. 11. 

There will be an additional opportunity to stop by the Round Rock TruWest Credit Union branch at 201 University Oaks Blvd, on Saturday, Nov. 23, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. as KASE 101 radio station broadcasts live from the parking lot. Anybody who donatesduring the live broadcast will be entered into a TruWest raffle to win one $50 or one of two $25 Mastercard® gift cards.

TruWest will ensure all donated coats will be given to Coats for Kids for distribution to local children and teenagers in need.

The 2012 Coats for Kids drive outfitted more than 32,000 kids with warm outerwear.
