TruWest Credit Union Receives Matching Grantfor Annual Holiday Auction
CO-OP Financial Services to match funds raisedfor Children’s Miracle Network, up to $10,000

Tempe, Ariz. – Apr. 10, 2014 – TruWest Credit Union has been awarded a dollar-for-dollar matching grant up to $10,000 for its Annual Holiday Auction, from CO-OP Financial Services via their Miracle Match program.  The TruWest employee auction, which is held each December, raises money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals in Phoenix and Austin. 

Matching funds from CO-OP will bring fundraising efforts for the TruWest Credit Union Employee Holiday Auction to a new level. Since it began 22 years ago, the event has continued to surpass fundraising records each year. In 2013, the auction raised $25,000 for Phoenix Children’s Hospital and Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas. If event fundraising trends remain similar to previous years, matching grant funds from CO-OP could bring the 2014 total to over $40,000!

CO-OP Financial Services initiated the Miracle Match program in 2008 to encourage its 3,500 member credit unions to do more to support the Children’s Miracle Network. TruWest is honored to have been selected for the 2014 Miracle Match grant.
