It’s Board Election Time Unlike banks, credit unions turn to their members to elect a volunteer Board of Directors who will best represent their interests. This is why it’s important for you to vote in our 2015 election! Voting begins January 2, 2015 and ends February 28, 2015. This year, you’ll be voting to retain three board member candidates1. Official results will be announced at TruWest’s Annual Meeting in April 2015. How to Vote Paper: Submit your paper ballot sealed in an envelope and leave with a branch representative or mail to: TruWest Credit Attn: Marketing/Board Election 1667 N. Priest Drive Tempe, AZ 85281 Online: Visit truwest.org/board-election-2015 1. Click on the VOTE 2015 button to link to your electronic ballot. 2. On the ballot page, follow the directions to enter your member number and last four digits of your Social Security or Tax ID number2. 3. Cast a “yes,” “no” or “no vote” vote to ratify the candidates. You will have the opportunity to review your entry prior to submitting your vote. If you vote more than one time, only the last vote will be accepted. If during the election, an incumbent is not ratified by the membership, the board must appoint someone who was not on the ballot for ratification. The appointee will serve one year and may run for election at the beginning of the next election season. 2. All members in good standing as of December 19, 2014, are eligible to vote. Only valid member account numbers with correct Social Security or Tax ID numbers will be accepted. All others will be invalid.
